Frequently Asked Questions
What is GPS tracking?
GPS is a global location system which provides a location service using a network of about 30 satellites orbiting the Earth. The receiver (e.g. using an antenna installed in a vehicle or a mobile phone) receives the signals of the satellites and calculates its own position and speed using those signals. It can be used either for navigation or for remote tracking of vehicles.
How does GPS tracking work?
GPS tracking uses a vehicle tracking system, which is an electronic device installed in a vehicle to enable the owner or a third party to track the vehicle's location. Most modern vehicle tracking systems use GPS modules for accurate location of the vehicle. Many systems also combine a communications component such as cellular or satellite transmitters to communicate the vehicle's location to a remote user. Vehicle information can be viewed on electronic maps via the Gaadiid Dhowr.
Gaadiid Dhowr uses a cellular communication component to communicate the vehicle's location to our servers. Unlike many GPS tracking service providers, our GPS tracking device continuously sends the position of the vehicle at set intervals (10, or 5 seconds depending on your plan). So you always have a history of where the vehicle has been.
Can Gaadiid Dhowr Tracking System Work on Iphone, Android Phone, or Tablet?
Yes! Our Tracking system is designed to be mobile-friendly and can be used on both Apple and Android devices.
How long does it take to install the unit in the vehicle?

Once the vehicle has been installed, it takes another 10 to 15 minute to configure the system for live use.
